3002 - Thin Whitetopping (Concrete Overlay)

SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
1) When shown on the plans, provide fibers.
2) When shown on the plans, mill the pavement surface to the depth specified on the plans, in accordance with Item 354, Planing and Texturing Pavement.
3) Adjust the screed to provide an approved grade line and overlay thickness, as specified on the plans.
4) When shown on the plans, achieve ride quality in accordance with Item 585, Ride Quality for Pavement Surfaces, Type A.

3127 - Thin Bonded Permeable Friction Course (TBPFC)

SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
1) Provide coarse aggregate with a minimum SAC as shown on the plans.
2) When PG binder is specified, provide an asphalt binder with a high temperature grade of PG 76 and low temperature grade as shown on the plans in accordance with Section 300.2.J, Performance Graded Binders.
3) When shown on the plans, use the type and rate of additive specified.
4)  Provide the specified type of material transfer device when shown on the plans.
5) When shown on the plans, the Engineer will provide the mixture design.

3142 - Ultra-Thin Bonded Hot Mix  Wearing Course (UTBHMWC)

SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
1) When PG binder is specified, provide an asphalt binder with a high temperature grade of PG76 and a low temperature grade as shown on the plans, in accordance with Section 300.2.J., Performance Graded Binders.
3) The plans may require or disallow specific mineral fillers.
4) When shown on the plans, use the type and rate of additive specified.
5) When shown on the plans, the Engineer will provide the mixture design.
