Widen the current two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided facility

The Houston District of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is studying improvements to FM 646 from IH 45 to SH 146 in Dickinson, TX, a distance of approximately 6.5 miles. The proposed improvements would widen the current two-lane, undivided roadway to a four-lane, divided facility. Additional right-of-way is required for the project.
