Widen existing two-lane roadway to a four-lane facility

The Houston District of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)  is studying improvements to SH 36 from FM 2218 in Fort Bend County to FM 1495 in Brazoria County and Spur 10 from US 59 to FM 2218 in Fort Bend County. The proposed improvements would upgrade the current two-lane, undivided facility to a four-lane divided in rural sections and a center left turn lane in more urban sections. The proposed project would also extend Spur 10 south of US 59 along Hartledge Road.
