2014 English Special Provisions to Item 506 - Temporary Erosion, Sedimentation, and Environmental Controls (All)


SP506-011  PDF  RTF   - For project 0092-01-057, 0596-02-040 in Dallas, Ellis Counties. This special provision clarifies monthly payments for Section 506.6.5.2, ''Maintenance for Erosion and Sediment Control for Cleaning and Restoring Control Measures.'' One-Time Use.
SP506-005  PDF  RTF   - This special provision is modified to make all training certifications available upon request. Required for all projects using temporary erosion, sedimentation, and environmental controls beginning with the November 2020 letting. Replaces SP506-004 . Statewide Use.
SP506-004  PDF  RTF   - VOID - DO NOT USE. Clarifies that training for the contractor responsible person environmental (CRPE) is valid for a period of 3 years. Required for all projects not using special provision 506-002 beginning with the August 2018 letting. Replaces SP506-003 .Replaced by SP506-005 . Statewide Use.
SP506-003  PDF  RTF   - VOID - DO NOT USE. Identifies contractor co-permittee requirements and contractor-required training for storm water management. Special Provisions 007-004 must be used in conjunction with this special provision. Required for all projects not using SP 506-002 beginning with the January 2016 letting. Replaces SP506-001 .Replaced by SP506-004 . Statewide Use.
SP506-002  PDF  RTF   - Modifies Standard Item 506 for projects that disturb less than one acre or routine maintenance activities that maintain the original line and grade, hydraulic capacity, or original purposes of the site. If SP 506-002 is used, do not use SP 506-005. Statewide Use.
SP506-001  PDF  RTF   - VOID - DO NOT USE. Identifies contractor-required training for storm water management. Required for all projects utilizing 2014 SP 506 beginning with the November 2014 letting. (2004 SP 1122-001). Replaced by SP506-003 . Statewide Use.
