Waco District Permit Restrictions

Waco District, All Counties	03-02-10	Over 20’ wide, 18’11" high, 200’ long, and/or Super Heavy Permitted Vehicles: The mover must contact the TxDOT maintenance office of each Waco District county they will enter at least 48 hrs prior to entering that County. These numbers are: Bell County: (254) 939 3691 Bosque County: (254) 435 2258 Coryell County: (254) 865 5716 Falls County: (254) 883 3462 Hamilton County: (254) 386 5512 Hill County: (254) 582 5411 Limestone County: (254) 562 2900 McLennan County: (254) 772 1200 Only signal crews approved by TxDOT may move/lift lights and lines to assist the load. FYI: This only pertains to the specific counties the load will enter; there is no need to list every county office number.
Bell County, IH35	11-30-11	14'6" max height from Amity Rd north of Salado to LP121 in Belton. Amity Rd is located approximately 1 1/2 miles north of FM2484.
Bell County, S.US190 EB to IH35 NB	11-30-11	16' max height traveling S.US190 EB to IH35 NB.
Bell County, SH317, FM439, LP121	12-06-11	This restriction only applies to permits issued under the house move procedures. The following conditions for these permits are: Curfew: Must not move from 7-9 AM and 3-5 PM on the following highways: SH317: From US190 to FM439(this includes FM93 where it is double signed with SH317). FM439: From FM2271 to SH317. LP121: From FM93 to FM439 The mover must also contact Belton PD, (254) 933-5840, at least 24 hours prior to traveling on the above highways. This is a permanent restriction.
Bell County, FM93	07-02-08	No permits from IH35 to N.SH317. This is a permanent restriction.
Bell County, FM437	05-10-06	No lowboy type trailers over the railroad crossing on the north side of US190/SH36.
Bell County, FM2271	07-22-87	Over 12' wide must have a flagman to warn oncoming traffic when crossing the Lake Belton Dam. This is a permanent restriction.
Bell County, FM2305 EB to W.LP363 NB	08-08-07	FYI: According to the Waco District the signs traveling FM2305 EB at W.LP363/Temple read LP363 East and LP363 West. Taking LP363 "east" will take them southeast towards the south of Temple. Taking LP363 "west" will take them north and east to the north of Temple. When routing on FM2305 EB you must use: FM2305e, W.LP363w in order to keep loads from heading south towards the IH35/S.LP363 interchange.
Bosque County, SH144 at SH22	11-07-08	12' max width and/or 75' max length at JCT SH144/SH22 in Meridian. This affects all turns to and from either highway. Travel straight through on SH22 is not affected. This is a permanent restriction.
Bosque and Hill Counties, SH174	05-13-08	Over 12’ wide: A flagman is required to warn all oncoming traffic while the load crosses the center of the bridge on SH174 over the Brazos River at the Bosque/Hill County Line. This is a permanent restriction.
Bosque County, FM56	01-06-11	10’ max width from FM2490 to E.SH22.
Bosque County, FM56	11-16-10	10’ max width from W.SH22 to FM1713.
Coryell County, US84	09-19-08	16’6" max height from FM116 to SH36. This is due to overhead signal arms. This is a permanent restriction.
Coryell County, JCT SH36 & N.BS36/FM215 in Gatesville	09-19-11	10' max width at JCT SH36 & N.BS36/FM215 in Gatesville. This restriction affects travel straight through on all highways. This restriction affects all turns.
Coryell County, BS36 in Gatesville	10-25-05	No permits from S.SH36 to E.US84 and from W.US84 to N.SH36.
Coryell County, FM116	01-02-08	16' max width, 17' max height and/or 110’ max length from S.FM1113 at Copperas Cove south to E.US190. This is a permanent restriction.
Coryell County, FM116	09-19-08	100’ max length from So.FM1113 to No.FM1113 in Copperas Cove. This is a permanent restriction.
Falls County, US77 Portion of FM431	09-27-11	12' max width from the Milam/Falls County line to N.FM431. This restriction also affects FM431 where it is double signed with US77.
Falls County, SH7	04-27-10	12’6" max width and/or 15’ max height from BS6 in Marlin to SH6. This is a permanent restriction.
Falls County, SH7	11-18-11	No permits from BS6 to SH6 in Marlin.
Hamilton County, US281	05-18-98	17' max height from SH36 to one block north (Henry Street) in Hamilton due to traffic lights.
Hamilton County, US281 NB to SH36 WB	05-28-98	16' max width and/or 75' max length at the intersection of SH36/US281 due to the courthouse square in Hamilton.
Hamilton County, JCT US281 & S.SH6	06-16-10	18’ max height at the intersection of JCT US281 & S.SH6 in Hico. This affects travel straight through on both highways and all turns. This is due to overhead lights.
Hamilton County, SH36 EB to US281 SB	05-28-988	16' max width and/or 75' max length at the intersection of SH36/US281 due to the courthouse square in Hamilton.
Hamilton County, SH36	04-14-06	17' max height from US281 to one block east (Bell Street) in Hamilton due to traffic lights.
Hamilton County, FM1602	01-27-03	12’ max width from SH22 to S.FM219
Hill County, JCT IH35W & S.FM67	07-20-10	There is no access to or from either highway at JCT IH35W & S.FM67.
Hill County, SH22	10-16-01	Over 12’ wide: A flagman is required to warn oncoming traffic as the load travels on the center of the Lake Whitney Dam located at the Bosque/Hill County Line. This is a permanent Restriction.
Hill and Bosque Counties, SH174	05-13-08	Over 12’ wide: A flagman is required to warn all oncoming traffic while the load crosses the center of the bridge on SH174 over the Brazos River at the Bosque/Hill County Line. This is a permanent restriction.
Hill County, FM339	11-21-11	No width and/or 15'6" max height from BS31 to 1/4 mile northwest of SH31.
Hill County, FM1242	12-17-07	58,420 lbs GVW max weight and/or legal axle weights over the bridge located approximately 2 miles southwest of SH171.
Limestone County, FM339	03-27-02	10’ max width. from the Hill County Line to SH164. This does not affect travel on US84.
Limestone County, FM638	12-07-10	No permits from FM27 to the Navarro/Limestone County line.
Limestone County, FM1365	12-28-10	10’ max width from US84 to approximately 1 ¼ miles southeast of US84.
McLennan County, JCT IH35 & SH7/FM107	03-30-11	80' max length for all turns to or from either highway at JCT IH35 & SH7/FM107. This is a permanent restriction.
McLennan County, IH35 NB	11-08-11	13' max width northbound from FM2063 to 1 mile north of SH6/S.LP340.
McLennan County, IH35 EFR	07-06-10	14' max width from FM2063 to SH6/S.LP340 in Waco. FYI: Frontage road restriction always affect detouring low overhead structures that are on the main lanes.
McLennan County, IH35	04-27-95	10' max width from SH6 to N.LP340 during the hours of 7:30-8:15 am and 4:45-5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
McLennan County, IH35/US77 EFR	08-17-11	10' max width from N.LP340 to Lincoln City Rd in Elm Mott. Lincoln City Rd is located approximately ½ mile north of N.BU77 in Lacy Lakeview. Loads with an origin or destination here have blanket approval to travel in the restriction if they have coordinated with the construction contractor.

McLennan County, Wiggins Rd over IH35 south of West	11-18-11	No permits on Wiggins Rd over IH35. Wiggins Rd is located approximately 2 ½ miles south of FM1858.
McLennan County, US77	04-27-95	10' max width from BU77 in Waco south to FM3148 during the hours of 7:30-8:15 am and 4:45-5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

McLennan County, SH317	11-01-11	24’ max width and/or 15’ max height from FM2416 to US84 between the hours of 11:00am and 1:00pm. This restriction is only in effect from 11:00am to 1:00pm; there are no restrictions all other times.
McLennan County, FM939	07-11-08	No permits from FM2957 to FM342.
McLennan County, FM1695	04-27-95	10' max width from US84 to FM2063 during the hours of 7:30-8:15 am and 4:45-5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
McLennan County, FM3051	04-27-95	10' max width from BU77 in Waco to FM1637 during the hours of 7:30-8:15 am and 4:45-5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
McLennan County, FM3223	05-09-95	No width from SH6 to FM1695 during the hours of 7:30-8:15 am and 4:45-5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
