Contracted Qualification Test

A = Acceptable      U = Unacceptable      C = Comments

Given an operational backhoe, the candidate will perform the following tasks:

A. Preventive Maintenance: The candidate correctly:

_____1. Checked fluid levels – cold check.
_____2. Checked air cleaner system – serviced if required.
_____3. Checked tire pressures.
_____4. Inspected tires for cuts/tread wear/proper mounting.
_____5. Inspected loader bucket for wear.
_____6. Inspected backhoe attachment for wear.
_____7. Inspected hydraulic lines and connections.
_____8. Lubricated machine.
_____9. Mounted machine properly.
_____10. Started engine – verified fluid levels.
_____11. Operated controls to warm-up hydraulics.
_____12. Checked lights and other safety items.

B. Roading the Machine: The candidate correctly:
