TxDOT partners with many consulting engineers and contractors to build Texas' transportation system. The companies contracted to perform highway construction and maintenance have the need for a greater understanding of department procedures, construction requirements and methodologies.

External training is available for certain design, development, construction, bridge, right of way, traffic, environmental, maintenance and safety courses open to TxDOT retirees, consultants, contractors, government employees and other publicly funded organization's employees such as MPO's, RMA's, Port Authorities and Councils of Government.

The cost shown is the amount a non TxDOT participant will be charged to attend the TxDOT training course.
