MTP provides rides to authorized services using community and regional transportation contractors for recipients who don't live near a municipal bus route. Vans are also available for recipients whose condition does not allow for travel by bus. Recipients may arrange for services in their own county or any adjacent county without special approval by a physician.

This is considered "routine" transportation and may be arranged up to two working days prior to the recipient's scheduled health-care appointment.

Recipients are urged to call in their appointments as soon as possible after making them.
