Description
Irving Interchanges:
Loop 12, SH 114, Spur 482, & SH 183
The $301 million project will include the reconstruction of the interchanges at SH 183, SH 114, Loop 12 and Spur 482. Loop 12 will be reconstructed and widened from six to eight lanes. SH 114 and Spur 482 will also be reconstructed and widened. Ten overhead direct connect ramps will be built to replace existing ground-level cloverleaf ramps. View the Irving Interchange virtual groundbreaking celebration.
I-635 LBJ East:
US 75 to I-30
The 635 East project will rebuild and widen I-635 East for 11 miles through northeast Dallas County. The $1.74 billion project will expand main lane capacity from four lanes to five, adds continuous frontage roads along the entire corridor to improve reliability and incident management and rebuilds the existing, grandfathered single managed lane in each direction. Construction will begin in early 2020 and is estimated to be completed in late 2024. To see the virtual groundbreaking event, please visit our 635 East project site.
I-35E:
I-30 to Oak
Lawn
Lowest Stemmons is a 2.3-mile project on I-35E from I-30 to north of Oak Lawn Avenue. For more information, visit the Lowest Stemmons information here.
I-35E:
US67 - Southern
Gateway
The $666 million Southern Gateway project will rebuild and widen Interstate 35E (I-35E) south of downtown Dallas. The 11-mile project will expand I-35E from four lanes to five lanes in each direction, and will also build two reversible, non-toll express lanes in the center of the corridor.
