In Fort Worth, from concurrent US 81/US 287 route southeastward via Saginaw to SS 280, then concurrent with SS 280 approximately 0.6 mile to IH 35-W, then southward concurrent with IH 35-W approximately 1.6 miles, then eastward and southeastward via Kennedale to FM 157 in Mansfield, then southeastward concurrent with FM 157 approximately 4.2 miles, then southeastward to its terminus at US 287, a total distance of approximately 38.6 miles. (Tarrant and Johnson Counties) Amended Description. In Fort Worth, segments designated on the state highway system along 4th Street from Commerce Street and along 5th Street from Houston Street to SS 280, then eastward concurrent with SS 280 to IH 35W, then southward concurrent with IH 35W to East Rosedale Street. One-way pair segments along Houston Street from 5th Street and along Commerce from 4th Street to Lancaster Avenue; and a segment from Lancaster Street south and eastward along South Main and East Rosedale Streets to IH 35W were removed and transferred to the city, approximately 1.8 miles.

In the city of Mansfield, the following three actions occurred which affect BU 287-P:

• a) A segment of BU 287-P was removed from the state highway system from FM 157 southeastward to FM 917, a distance of approximately 2.5 miles. Jurisdiction, control, and maintenance were transferred to the city of Mansfield.
• b) A segment of FM 157 was redesignated as BU 287-P, from US 287 southward to BU 287-P, a distance of approximately 1.4 miles.
• c) A segment of BU 287-P was redesignated as FM 917, from FM 917 southeastward to US 287, a distance of approximately 2.2 miles.
