North of the city of Hallsville, a segment of FM 450 was removed from the state highway system from a location south of Ferguson Road, southward to a location north of FM 449, a distance of approximately 2.1 miles. Control, jurisdiction, and maintenance were transferred to Harrison County^a. Additionally, a segment of FM 450 was designated on a new location, from a location south of Ferguson Road, southward to a location north of FM 449 (the same limits as the removed segment), a distance of approximately 2.0 miles^b.
