From US 84 at Lawn eastward to Oplin, thence northward via Denton Community to new location US 80 at Clyde, a distance of approximately 32.8 miles. (Taylor and Callahan Counties)  Extended approximately 3.8 miles northward to end of FM 1078 and approximately 4.5 miles westward to FM 688.  FM 1078 canceled and combined, adding approximately 8.3 miles.  A section of FM 688 from US 84 at Lawn eastward to Callahan County Line transferred, adding approximately 7.5 miles.

From US 83 at Guion eastward via Lawn to Oplin thence northward via Denton Community to US 80 at Clyde, a distance of approximately 40.7 miles.  (Taylor and Callahan Counties)  (New Description)  Extended approximately 7.9 miles, 1.6 miles from FM 688 and 6.3 miles from canceled FM 1748.

From U.S. 83 at Guion eastward via Lawn to Oplin thence northward via Denton community to US 80 at Clyde, thence northwestward approximately 4.0 miles, a total distance of approximately 44.8 miles. (Taylor and Callahan Counties)  Extended approximately 4.0 miles northwestward.

From US 83 at Guion, eastward via Lawn to Oplin; then northward via Denton Community to IH 20 at Clyde, and from another point on IH 20, northwestward to SH 351, a total distance of approximately 53.1 miles. (Taylor, Callahan, and Shackelford Counties)  Termini at Clyde redescribed as IH 20 extended northwestward approximately 6.7 miles to end of FM 2927.  FM 2927 combined adding approximately 2.3 miles.


Minute Order 110094, dated 05/26/2005; DesLtr 2-2005, dated 07/07/2005

No change to description.  (Taylor, Callahan, and Shackelford Counties)  At district’s request, FM 604 redesignated along a new location in order to facilitate the flow of traffic, promote public safety, and maintain continuity on the state highway system.  The former location of FM 604 is removed from the state highway system and returned to the city and county for control, jurisdiction and maintenance.
