From US 69 at Hillister eastward to FM 92 at Spurger; and from another point on FM 92 at Spurger eastward via Mount Union and Kirbyville and southeastward to FM 1004 at Call, a total distance of approximately 35.4 miles. (Tyler, Jasper, and Newton Counties)  Extended eastward approximately 5.8 miles from FM 92 to end of FM 2304; FM 2304 canceled and combined, adding approximately 4.5 miles; section of FM 1005 from Mount Union to Call transferred to this FM adding approximately 12.0 miles.
