From US 281 at Hico, southward via Fairy and Lanham, to a road intersection 4.7 miles south of Lanham, a distance of and 22.0 miles. (Hamilton County) This route was formerly FM 220 but was canceled and renumbered FM 1602 to avoid confusion with SH 220 at Hico.

From US 281 at Hico, southward and southeastward via Fairy and Lanham a distance of approximately 24.8 miles. (Hamilton County)  Extended approximately 2.0 miles  southeastward.

From US 281 at Hico, southeastward via Fairy and Lanham to SH 36 near Jonesboro, a distance of approximately 29.9 miles. (Hamilton County)  Extended approximately 5.1 miles to SH 36.
