From Ladonia via Commerce, Sulphur Springs, Winnsboro, and Pittsburg to Daingerfield, then follow SH 49 from Daingerfield to Hughes Springs, then from Hughes Springs to Linden. Section from Linden via Atlanta to Texarkana cancelled assigned US 59.
From US 82 in Sherman southeastward via Whitewright, Commerce, Sulphur Springs, Winnsboro & Pittsburg to Daingerfield, thence follow SH 49 to Hughes Springs, thence from Hughes Springs to Linden, a total distance of approx. 160 miles. (Grayson, Fannin, Hunt, Hopkins, Franklin, Camp, Morris, and Cass Counties) FM 1281 & part of FM 697 redesignated as SH 11, section of present SH 11 from Ladonia to Commerce redesignated as SH 50.
From US 82 in Sherman southeast via Whitewright, Commerce, Sulphur Springs, Winnsboro, and Pittsburg to Daingerfield, thence follow SH 49 to Hughes Springs; thence from Hughes Springs to Linden. A total approx. distance of 160.0 miles. (Grayson, Fannin, Hunt, Hopkins, Franklin, Camp, Morris and Cass Counties) New description; as requested by District, section of mileage rearranged and modified in the City of Sulphur Springs.
