Minute Order 016842, dated 11/20/1939

From Temple via Taylor and Elgin to Bastrop, and from Flatonia via Shiner to Yoakum.  Changing former SH 297 from Flatonia via Shiner to Yoakum to SH 95.



Minute Order 018283, dated 05/29/1941

From Temple via Taylor and Elgin to Bastrop, and then follow SH 71 from Bastrop to Smithville and then from Smithville via Flatonia and Shiner to Yoakum.  Section Smithville to Flatonia added.  (The present road via Cistern is to be considered as a temporary route.)

From US 190 and SH 36 southeast of Temple via Taylor and Elgin to Bastrop and then follow SH 71 from Bastrop to Smithville and then from Smithville via Flatonia and Shiner to Yoakum.  New description; section from SH 53 in Temple to US 190 and SH 36 southeast of Temple cancelled.


Minute Order 109247, dated 04/24/2003; DesLtr 03/2003, 06/27/2003

No change to description. (Bell, Williamson, Travis, Bastrop, Fayette, and Lavaca Counties) At district’s request, removed a segment of surplus right of way along a segment of SH 95 at the southeast corner of East Lake Drive and SH 95 from the state highway system and returned to the City of Taylor. The surplus property is no longer needed for highway or public transportation purposes and is not suitable for retention in order to restore, preserve, or improve the scenic beauty at this location.
