From a point on US 87 west of Stockdale via Floresville, Pleasanton, Jourdanton, and Fowlerton to Cotulla.  Add section Fowlerton to Cotulla, formerly part of SH 72.

From US 81 in Cotulla via Fowlerton, Jourdanton, Pleasanton, Floresville, Stockdale, Nixon and Gonzales to US 90 in Waelder.  (LaSalle, McMullen, Atascosa, Wilson, and Gonzales Counties)  Extended from US 87 west of Stockdale to Waelder.  Section of SH 200 from SH80 to Gonzales and SH3 from Gonzales to Waelder cancelled and combined.

From SH 97 and US 90A, northwestward and westward concurrent with US 90A to the new location of 183, then southward concurrent with US 183 to the existing routing of SH 97, south of Gonzales.  (LaSalle, McMullen, Atascosa, Wilson, and Gonzales Counties)  New description; SH 97 rerouted and former location, from US 90A, southward along Seydler St, then westward along St Lawrence St to St Joseph St, approx. 2.2 miles, returned to Gonzales for jurisdiction and maintenance.
