From Navasota via Conroe to Cleveland and from a point on SH 146 north of Moss Hill, thence along a line approximately equal distance between Saratoga and Batson and between Pine Island Bayou and West Taylor Bayou to Sour Lake and a point on US 69 near Beaumont.  General redescription of Highway System.

From Navasota via Conroe to Cleveland, thence eastward along the vicinity of an existing county road known as the Cleveland-Neville’s Road to SH 146, then traverse SH 146 southward to a point at or near Moss Hill, thence along a line approximately equal distance between Saratoga and Batson and between Pine Island Bayou and West Taylor Bayou to Sour Lake and a point on US 69 near Beaumont.  Section from Cleveland to near Moss Hill added.

From Navasota easterly via Conroe to Cleveland, thence temporarily eastward along or in the vicinity of an existing county road known as the Cleveland-Neville’s Ferry Road to SH 146 at or near Rye; and from another point on SH 146 at or near Moss Hill easterly along a line approximately equal distance between Saratoga and Batson, and between Pine island Bayou and West Taylor Bayou via Sour Lake, and to a point on US 69 near Beaumont. (Grimes, Hardin, Montgomery, Liberty, and Jefferson Counties)  Temporary routing over S.H. 146 as included in Minute 023160 from Rye to near Moss Hill eliminated.  (To become effective when 1957 Travel Map is released.)

From Navasota eastward via Conroe and Cleveland to SH 146 at Rye; and from FM 770 east of Batson, via Sour Lake to U.S. 69 near Beaumont. (Grimes, Hardin, Montgomery, Liberty and Jefferson Counties)  Section from Cleveland via near Moss Hill and on a line equidistant between Batson and Saratoga to FM 770 cancelled.

From Brenham eastward via Conroe and Cleveland to SH 146 at Rye; and from FM 770, east of Batson, via Sour Lake to US 69 near Beaumont. Extended north along new location of SH 6 to SH 90; section of SH 90 from SH 6 southwest to US 290 west of Brenham transferred to SH 105; section of SH 105 from SH 6 westward to SL 508 transferred to SS 515.  Effective with release of second printing of 1973 Official Highway Travel Map.

From US 290, west edge of Brenham, northeastward and eastward via Brenham, Navasota and Conroe to US 59 at Cleveland; and from SH 321 in Cleveland northeastward via Rayburn and Romayor to SH 146 at Rye; and from FM 770, approximately 2.8 miles east of Batson, southeastward via Sour Lake to US 69 in Beaumont.  (Washington, Grimes, Montgomery and Liberty) New description:  redescribed to show break in route at Cleveland and a one-way pair system in Conroe.  Eastbound traffic along Davis St and westbound traffic along Phillips St from the intersection of Davis St and 6th to Davis St and Madley St.

From US 290, west edge of Brenham, northeastward and eastward via Brenham, Navasota and Conroe to US 59 at Cleveland, a distance of approximately 91 miles; and from another point on US 59 in Cleveland eastward concurrent with SH 321 approximately 6.2 miles and continuing eastward via Moss Hill to FM 770 in Batson; thence eastward concurrent with FM 770 approximately 2.8 miles; thence southeastward via Sour Lake and Bevil Oaks to US 69 in Beaumont, a total distance of approximately 153 miles.  (Washington, Grimes, Montgomery, Liberty, Hardin and Jefferson Counties)  New description:  Section relocated over FM 162 & FM 770 of approx. 27.5 miles.

In Brenham from BU 290-F northeastward and eastward via Navasota and Conroe to US 59 at Cleveland, a distance of approximately 89.0 miles, and from another point on US 59 in Cleveland eastward, concurrent with SH 321 approximately 6.2 miles and continuing eastward via Moss Hill to FM 770 in Batson, thence eastward concurrent with FM 770 approximately 2.8 miles, thence southeastward via Sour Lake and Bevil Oaks to US 69 in Beaumont, a total distance of approximately 151.0 miles.  (Washington, Brazos, Grimes, Montgomery, Liberty, Hardin, and Jefferson Counties)  New description:  a section of SH 105, approximately 1.9 miles, from US 290, west of Brenham to Market St in Brenham transferred to BU 290-F.

(No change to description)  At district’s request, SH 105 designated along a new location, from 1.8 miles west of FM 1725 southward, eastward, and northward to 1.7 miles east of FM 787, and former location of SH 105 redesignated as BS 105-T.
