From SH 6, southward and southwestward to SH 99 (Grand Parkway), a distance of approximately 11.0 miles. (Harris and Ft Bend Counties)  (New Description)  At District’s request, segment of SH 122, from SL 8 to SH 6, removed from state highway system. 

The designation of SH 122 was removed from the state highway system, in its entirety, from SH 6 southwestward to the proposed alignment of SH 99, a distance of approximately 11 miles.
