From Marshall via Gilmer and Quitman to Sulphur Springs. Section from SH 24 in Delta County to Sulphur Springs transferred to SH 19.
From Marshall via Gilmer, Quitman and Sulphur Springs to Cooper. Extended from Sulphur Springs to Cooper over existing SH 19 and cancelled section of FM 64.
From IH 20 southeast of Marshall via Marshall, Gilmer, Quitman, and Sulphur Springs to Cooper, a total distance of approx. 126.0 miles. Extended southeastward from US 80 to SH 43, thence over SH 43 to US 59, thence eastward to FM 31 and southeastward along FM 31 to IH 20.
From IH 20 southeast of Marshall via Marshall, Gilmer, Quitman, and Sulphur Springs to Cooper, a total approximate distance of 126.0 miles. (Harrison, Upshur, Wood, Hopkins, and Delta Counties) New description; as requested by District, section of mileage rearranged and modified in the City of Sulphur Springs.

Cooper, a total distance of approximately 120.0 miles. (Harrison, Upshur,
Wood, Hopkins, and Delta Counties) (New Description) At district’s
request, segment of SH 154, from the intersection of US 80 to the
intersection of SH 43, redesignated as SL 390; segment of SH 154 removed
from the state highway system, from the intersection of SL 390 to the
intersection of US 80, a distance of approximately 0.8 mile; segment of
SH 154 removed from the state highway system, from the intersection of SH 43
to the intersection of US 59, a distance of approximately 2.3 miles; segment
of SH 154 removed from the state highway system, from the intersection of
US 59 to the intersection of FM 31, a distance of approximately 1.2 miles;
and segment of SH 154 removed from the state highway system, from the
intersection of FM 31 to the intersection of IH 20, a distance of
approximately 3.0 miles.
