From SH 79 in Olney, southward to FM 926 in Newcastle, a distance of approximately 11.0 miles. (Young County) New description; section of approx. 0.1 mile, from present end of FM 926 at SH 251 junction, eastward to US 380, transferred to FM 926; its concurrent routing with US 380, from their junction in Newcastle to their separation south of Newcastle, cancelled. The remaining section of SH 251, from US 380 southward to existing FM 61, transferred to FM 61.
