From a point on the approved location of SH 29 approximately 1.5 miles west of the Colorado River Bridge at the Llano/Burnet County Line and extending northwestward along or near the shore line of Buchanan Lake to a point on the public road formerly known as SH 29 at or near New Bluffton. General redescription of Highway System.

From SH 29 approximately 1.5 miles west of the Colorado River Bridge at the Llano/Burnet County Line northwestward along or near the shore line of Buchanan Lake to New Bluffton. (Llano County) Section of RM 2241, from existing northern terminus to New Bluffton, cancelled and combined, adding approximately 1.2 miles; system transfer. (To become effective upon the date the 1958 Travel Map is release to the public.)
