Austin Spur - From intersection of 7th & Chicon St in the City of Austin, extending eastward crossing with Gonzales St, thence southeastward to US 290 near the junction with SH 29, with a connection to 6th St, east of SP Railroad (Llano Branch).  (Travis County)  New Designation.

From US 290 at the intersection of 7th and Pedernales Sts southward to the intersection of 6th and Pedernales Sts.  (Travis County)  Rerouting of US 290 eliminated SS 178 with exception of connection from 7th St to 6th St along Pedernales St.

Commerce Loop - From SH 224 west of Commerce, eastward to SH 24, then eastward concurrent with SH 11 approximately 1.6 miles to BS 11-H, then northeastward to SH 24 north of Commerce, a total distance of approximately 7.5 miles. (Hunt County) Western terminus amended, concurrent designation with SH 11 detailed.
