From US 54 at or near the Texas/New Mexico State Line, southward to the International Border at Juarez, Mexico.  (El Paso County)  Old location US 54 to be marked US 54 business route, effective upon completion of new location US 54.

In El Paso, from junction of US 54 and BUS 54-A, southward to the International Border at Juarez, Mexico, a distance of approximately 6.1 miles.  (El Paso County)  New description; a section of SL 478 (approximately 12.5 miles) that runs concurrent with US 54, from Texas/New Mexico State Line to US 54 and SL 478 junction in El Paso, transferred to BU 54-A.
