Amarillo Loop - From IH 40, west of Amarillo, eastward, northward, and eastward approximately 9.0 miles to its junction with US 60 and US 87; thence concurrent with US 60 eastward and northeastward approximately 10.8 miles to its junction with SL 552; thence southeastward approximately 4.6 miles to IH 40, a total approximate distance 24.4 miles.  (Potter and Carson Counties)  New designation; mileage transferred from old location of US 66.
