From the Texas-Louisiana State Line near Waskom via Waskom, Longview, Gladewater, Mineola, Wills Point, Terrell, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Weatherford, Ranger, Eastland, Cisco, Baird, Abilene, Sweetwater, Roscoe, Colorado City, Big Spring, Midland, Odessa, Monahans, Pecos, Toyah, Kent, Van Horn, Sierra Blanca, and El Paso to the Texas/New Mexico State Line near Anthony with alternate route through El Paso, following present route over Alameda St and Texas St to Oregon St, thence southward to San Antonio St, thence westward on San Antonio St to Davis St, over Davis St to the Smelter Rd, and thence to a point on the present US. 80; and an alternate route through the City of Ft. Worth, from a point on US 80 at the intersection of Camp Bowie Blvd and Montgomery St via Lancaster Ave to a point on US 80 at Commerce St.  (Dallas, Kaufman, Van Zandt, Smith, Wood, Upshur, Gregg and Harrison Counties)  General redescription of Highway System.

Worth, Weatherford, Ranger, Eastland, Cisco, Baird, Abilene, Sweetwater, Roscoe, Colorado City, Big Spring, Midland, Odessa, Monahans, Pecos, Toyah, Kent, Von Horn, Sierra Blanca, and El Paso to the Texas/New Mexico State Line near Anthony. Eliminating "Alternate Route " through. Ft. Worth until route constructed.   Eliminating "Alternate Route" through El Paso from description of US 80 and separate file made for US 80 Alt (El Paso)--see Minute Order 032159.

From the IH 30/US 67 Interchange in Dallas, eastward via Mesquite, Terrell, Wills Point, Edgewood, Grand Saline, Mineola, Hawkins, Big Sandy, Gladewater, Longview, Hallsville, Marshall, Waskom to the Texas/Louisiana S/L, a distance of approximately 161.0 miles. (Dallas, Kaufman, Van Zandt, Smith, Wood, Upshur, Gregg and Harrison Counties)  Section of approximately 659.0 miles, from the New Mexico State Line east of Anthony southward and eastward to the IH 30, US 80 Interchange in Dallas, cancelled and removed from the State Highway System.
