From the Texas/Arkansas State Line at Texarkana via New Boston, Clarksville, Paris, Bonham, Sherman, Gainesville, Henrietta, Wichita Falls, Seymour, Benjamin, Guthrie, Dickens, Lubbock, Brownfield, and Plains to the Texas-hew Mexico State Line. Extended from Lubbock to the New Mexico State Line.

From FM 769 at the New Mexico State Line northeastward to Plains; and then continuing eastward and concurrent with US 380 to Brownfield; thence northeast and concurrent with US 62 via Lubbock to Ralls; thence eastward via Dickens, Guthrie, Benjamin to Seymour; thence northeast and concurrent with US 277 to Wichita Falls; thence eastward and concurrent with US 287 to Henrietta; thence eastward via Gainesville to FM 1417, northeast of Sherman; thence southward along FM 1417 to SH 56; and then continuing eastward and concurrent with SH 56 to Bonham; and then continuing eastward via Paris, Clarksville, De Kalb, New Boston to US 67 in Texarkana at the Arkansas State Line, a total approximate distance of 572.3 miles. (Yoakum, Terry, Hockley, Lubbock, Crosby, Dickens, King, Knox, Baylor, Archer, Wichita, Clay, Montague, Cooke, Grayson, Fannin, Lamar, Red River and Bowie Counties) At district’s request, concurrently designated US 82 on the state highway system along an existing segment of SH 37 from the intersection of SH 37 northward and eastward to the intersection of BS 37-C, a distance of approximately 1.7 miles; designated US 82 on the state highway system along a new location, from the intersection of BS 37-C eastward and southeastward to approximately 0.4 mile east of the intersection of FM 1159, a distance of approximately 1.6 miles; redesignated a segment of the former location of US 82 on the state highway system as BU 82-J, from the intersection of SH 37 eastward to the intersection of BS 37-C, a distance of approximately 0.4 mile; redesignated a segment of the former location of US 82 on the state highway system as BU 82-J (BU 82-J and BS 37-C are concurrent from the intersection of BS 37-C, eastward to the intersection of BS 37-C, a distance of approximately 0.9 mile); and redesignated a segment of the former location of US 82 on the state highway system as BU 82-J, from the intersection of BS 37-C eastward to approximately 0.4 mile east of the intersection of FM 1159, a distance of approximately 0.9 mile.
