From SH 214 in Morton, eastward and southward to SH 116 northwest of Whiteface; and from another point on SH 116 at Whiteface, southward to FM 2196, a distance of approximately 39.9 miles. (Cochran and Yoakum Counties) Approximately 10.1 miles of FM 769 from SH 116 at Whiteface southward to FM 301 approximately 13.3 miles to FM 2196 added by new designation. Above change to FM 769 to become effective upon release to the public of the next revised issue of the Official Highway Travel Map.
