From Ratcliff via Lufkin to a point on SH 87 at or near Milam. Redesignated from Neches River westward 4.381 miles as of 03/26/1942 (corrects Minute Order 019187 of 03/26/1942). Redesignated from Ratcliff eastward 5.795 miles as of 09/01/1942 (corrects Minute Order 019616 of 09/22/1942).
From SH 7, just east of Neches River, via Lufkin to SH 87 at or near Milam. Western terminus changed from Ratcliff to SH 7 near Neches River to eliminate section concurrent with SH 7.
From SH 7, east of Neches River to junction of SL 287 and BU 69-J in Lufkin, then from a point on BU 69-J and BU 59-G in Lufkin eastward to SH 87 at Milam, a distance of approximately 73.0 miles. (Angelina, Nacogdoches, San Augustine, and Sabine Counties) New description: section of SH 103 from SL 287 to BU 59-G in Lufkin (approximately 2.1 miles) transferred to BU 69-J.
