From IH 10 at or near Canutillo, southeastward through the Franklin Mountains to US 54 near or through the Castner Rifle Range; thence eastward at or near the northern edge of Biggs Air Force Base; thence southeastward crossing US 62 and US 180, FM 659, IH 10, FM 76, US 80; thence along the eastern side of the Ysleta district to the Zaragosa International Bridge. (EI Paso County) New Designation.
From US 80 near Canutillo, southeastward through the Franklin Mountains to US 54 near or through the Castner Rifle Range thence eastward at or near the northern edge of Biggs AFB; thence southeastward crossing US 62 and 180, FM 659, IH 10, FM 76 and US 80; thence along the eastern side of the Ysleta district to the Zaragosa International Bridge. (El Paso County) Section of FM 259, from IH 10 westward approximately 1.0 mile to US 80, transferred to this SL.
From US 80 near Canutillo southeastward thru the Franklin Mountains
to US 54; thence eastward at or near northern edge of Biggs AFB; thence
southward to Zaragosa Rd; thence northwestward to a point approximately
two blocks west of Santa Fe St, with a connection to the International
Bridge at Zaragosa Road. (El Paso County) Extended northwestward
approx. 12.5 miles from Zaragosa Rd.
From SH 20 near Canutillo, southeastward through the Franklin Mountains to US 54; thence eastward at or near northern edge of Biggs Air Force Base; thence southward to Zaragosa Rd; thence northwestward to a point approx. two blocks west of Santa Fe St, with a connection to the International Bridge at Zaragosa Road. (El Paso County) Redescribed due to old location US 80 being redesignated as SH 20.
From SH 20 approx. 0.47 mile north of Borderland Rd, northeastward to its junction with SL 375; then eastward to Railroad Dr at Fort Bliss Military Reservation; and then from another point on US 62/180 southward and northwestward to US 62/85 (Santa Fe St); and then from another point on SH 20 eastward to its junction with present location of SL 375, a total approx. distance of 40.0 miles. (El Paso County) As requested by District, section of approximately 1.2 miles added from SH 20 northeastward to present SL 375.
