From the Texas/Oklahoma State Line near Ringgold via Ringgold, Bowie, Decatur, Ft. Worth, Burleson, Itasca, Hillsboro, Waco, Temple, Belton, Georgetown, Bound Rock, Austin, San Marcos, New Braunfels, San Antonio, Pearsall, and Cotulla to Laredo (International Boundary Line); with alternate route through Ft. Worth, from a point on the presently designated US 81 at a point approximately 2 miles south of the city limits of Ft. Worth and thence northward along or near the old Burleson Rd, S Pecan St, Morningside Dr, S Main St, and into the business section of the City of Ft. Worth. General redescription of Highway System.

From the Texas/Oklahoma State Line near Ringgold via Ringgold, Bowie, Decatur, Fort Worth, Burleson, Itasca, Hillsboro, Waco, Temple, Belton, Georgetown, Round Rock, Austin, San Marcos, New Braunfels, San Antonio, Pearsall and Cotulla to Laredo (International Boundary Line). Revised to eliminate an alternate route through Fort Worth.

From the Texas/Oklahoma State Line, 5.0 miles north of Ringgold, southward via Ringgold, Bowie, and Decatur to its junction with IH 35W, a distance of approximately 79.0 miles. (Montague, Wise and Tarrant Counties) Section of approximately 426.0 miles, from its junction with present US 81 and US 287 and IH 35W in Fort Worth, southward to the International Boundary at Laredo, cancelled and removed from the State Highway System.
