Adam Snider has been covering federal transportation issues for four years.  He got his start at BNA, now known as BloombergBNA, where his work won the company’s Beltz Award for Editorial Excellence.

Adam moved to POLITICO in October 2010 to launch Morning Transportation, a transportation-based politics and policy tip sheet read by thousands every day, including Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood and a number of House and Senate lawmakers.

Adam was a one-man transportation team for the first month, cranking out 1,500 words for each morning’s issue. Adam now has help on the transportation beat, and POLITICO Pro is planning to launch a subscription-only transportation service in the coming months.

Adam has an English and Communications degree from Clemson University.  He is originally from Clemson, S.C., and has lived in Washington D.C. for nearly a decade.
