Ann L. Coss is considered the foremost leading expert in personal resilience. She is one of the founding fathers of Personal Recovery Concepts. Ann spent more than a decade researching personal preparedness and its impacts at the individual, community, business and governmental levels. Most recently, she was selected to sit on the United States task force on family preparedness. As a task force member Ann shared her research and assisted in drafting the Family Preparedness Standard for inclusion into the NFPA 1600 Disaster/Emergency Management and Business Continuity Program 2013 edition. Personal Recovery Concepts’ developed and holds a method patent for solutions that solve for individual and workforce resilience. They are partnered with George Mason University’s Center for Infrastructure Protection and Homeland Security and Eastern Michigan University’s Center for Regional and National Security to bring the education and tools needed to organizations that will improve the nation’s resourcefulness, robustness and rapid recovery. |
