The Honorable Charles L. Hopkins, III P.E.,

The Honorable Charles L. Hopkins, III serves as Vice President and General Manager for Global Services & Solutions Inc.  The company provides Resilience, Continuity of Operations, Continuity of Government subject matter experts; program management and acquisition support services; and technical, design and engineering subject matter experts to the federal government. 

In 2007, Mr. Hopkins was sworn in as the Assistant Secretary for Operations, Security and Preparedness under the Department of Veterans Affairs.  In this role he directed the Departments’ Emergency Management, Security, and Law Enforcement Programs. 

Prior to his time with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Mr. Hopkins served as FEMA’s Director for the Office of National Security Coordination.  Mr. Hopkins has also served the White House in a number of leadership roles including: Director, Emergency Programs and Chief of Staff/Senior Advisor in the Department of the Treasury.
