Greg is responsible for APTA’s Rail, Bus and Commuter Rail Safety Management Programs, Security programs, Peer Review services, and industry committees. Greg liaisons with the Department of Transportation, Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration, and National Transportation Safety Board on safety, security and emergency preparedness.

Greg has spoken on issues of public transit safety and security at numerous conferences and seminars. He has testified before Congress on public transit security and has contributed to numerous research documents

Greg has over 30 years of experience in public transit operations management. He is a graduate of the University of Manitoba and the University of Calgary, and also attended the Banff School of Management. Greg is a registered safety professional with additional credentialing in system security and system safety auditing.

Greg is a daily commuter on the public transit services in Washington, D.C.
