Linda Hull
  Director of Legislative and Government Affairs, Utah DOT

Linda Hull has worked for the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) for 11 years.  Since 2000, Ms. Hull has served as the Director of Legislative and Government Affairs for UDOT, developing and directing the Department’s legislative strategy.  As the primary liaison for the Department with the Utah State Legislature and the U.S. Congress, Ms. Hull develops, analyzes, and monitors state and federal legislation and regulations that affect Utah transportation. 

Mr. Hull started her career with UDOT as the Director of Program Development, leading the development of the annual transportation construction program and overseeing the transportation planning process and the public involvement process.  In that position, Ms. Hull worked closely with the Utah Transportation Commission. 

Prior to coming to UDOT, Ms. Hull served as a Congressional aide in Washington D.C. for seven years working for Members of Congress from Utah and California on matters including federal transportation issues and appropriations.   

Through her career, Ms. Hull has developed a thorough knowledge of both state and federal transportation programs and the federal and state legislative processes. 

Ms. Hull received her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Utah.  Ms. Hull is married, has one stepson and enjoys hiking with her dogs.
