We are moving our reception to a heated tent in Brush Square Park just across the street from the Hilton Austin. This location will allow guests to mingle with friends, enjoy refreshments and get exclusive views of two unique transportation experiences.
Texas Transportation Forum badges are required for entry into the reception area. Please obtain your badge at the Forum registration desk prior to entering the reception. Registration will be open 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the Hilton Austin 4th Floor Lobby.
capital MetroraiLA MetroRail train car will be on display at the adjacent Downtown Austin station during the event. Attendees are encouraged to tour the train and discuss the new commuter rail line with Capital Metro staff. Please, no food or drink inside the train. |

The Dart Transit Mobile Classroom and Driving Simulator will be parked next to the reception tent. The simulator is a full-size truck cab mounted on a full-motion base housed inside a 53 foot trailer. The realistic nature of the cab provides an authentic experience of driving an 18-wheeler. See what it's like to share the road from a truck driver's perspective. Please, no food or drink inside the truck. WARNING: Persons prone to motion sickness should not enter the simulator. |
