Drew Darby

Drew Darby was elected to the Texas House of Representatives in 2006 to serve the people of House District 72. Representative Darby currently serves as Chair of the Subcommittee on Funding for the Select Committee on Transportation Funding. He also serves as Vice Chair of the Subcommittee on Business and Economic Development for the Appropriations Committee, and on the Appropriations Subcommittee on Stimulus, the Select Federal Economic Stabilization Funding Committee, and the Human Service Committee.

Representative Darby's accomplishments include the Chairman's Award offered in recognition of outstanding contributions to the San Angelo community, Outstanding Legislator by the Texas Land Title Association, Friends of County Government by the Texas Association of Counties, Champion for Free Enterprise Award by the Texas Association of Business, and Outstanding Contribution to Law Enforcement by the Texas Police Chiefs Association.

As a successful businessman, Drew is the founder of Drew Darby and Associates Law Firm, and owner of Surety Title Company, Inc. with seven offices serving thirteen counties.
