Keith Sasich was named Executive Manager of Kiewit Texas Construction L.P. in April after serving as President/District Manager for the past 12 years.

Before joining Kiewit, Keith worked two summers as an Engineer’s Assistant with the Montana Highway Department in the Hardin, Montana area. Following that, he began his career with Kiewit as an Intern. His first assignment was Traffic Control Foreman in Kalispell, Montana. After earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial and Management Engineering at Montana State University, Keith joined Kiewit full time in 1981. His first position was Grading Foreman on a project in Boulder, Montana.

Prior to his recent promotion, Keith became the Texas Area Manager in 1993, and was then named President in 1997. He has served as principal-in-charge of many projects, including the I-30 reconstruction project in Dallas, Texas. This $98 million project was finished approximately two years ahead of its original scheduled completion date. The project required paving of five miles of concrete interstate highway, including eight new bridges, three types of retaining walls and major drainage enhancements. Another project Keith directed was the Design Build US 90 bridge replacement in Biloxi, Mississippi. It was a $330 million project to replace twin bridges devastated by Hurricane Katrina on US 90 over Biloxi Bay. The project was one of the fastest replacements of its kind in Federal Highway Administration history.

As Executive Manager, Keith presently oversees the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Orange Line and the DFW Connector Projects. “I really enjoy working for Kiewit because we have great people to work with, and we have all the resources to build any challenging project that we want to build.” Keith quoted “I have a great wife Karrie, and four lovely kids Jordan, Jessen, Kaylee, and Kohl; all who have moved across the country with me while looking for the “Next Job”.”

Recently, Keith was promoted to a Corporate Vice President of the Kiewit Company’s.
