Legislative Assistant to U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson

Patrick Mullane is a Legislative Assistant to U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, advising her on issues relating to transportation, NASA and border security, including those under the jurisdiction of the Senate Committee on Commerce Science and Transportation, of which Hutchison is the ranking member. 

Prior to working for Hutchison, Mullane served as a federal affairs representative for the Texas Department of Transportation.  He also spent five years as legislative assistant for transportation under Congressman Thomas E. Petri, chairman of the House Highways and Transit Subcommittee at the time.  Mullane received his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and is completing his master’s in public administration at George Washington University.
