504 - FACILITIES FOR FIELD OFFICE AND LABORATORY
SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
1) The types and number
of structures will be shown on the plans.
2) Type E structures will
be as described on the plans.
3) Type D asphalt mix control
laboratory is required for all projects involving quantities
of HMACP sufficient to require complete mixture testing and will meet
the dimensional requirements shown on the plans.
4) Dimensions for the parking
enclosure should be shown on the plans. OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS

SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
1) Limits and/or locations, grades and typical cross sections must be shown on the plans.
2) For the typical cross sections, show the depth of each material to be used on the detours.
3) The details of the pipe required for temporary drainage across the detour must be shown on the plans.
4) If the materials used in the detour will be reused in the roadway construction or stockpiled for future use,
the salvaging and/or stockpiling will be paid for under the pertinent bid Items shown on the plans.
5) For Class 4 measurement, the embankment, flexible base and surfacing will be paid for under the pertinent
bid Items shown on the plans.
OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
1) When Flexible Base is required it will be in accordance with Item 247.
2) When Portland Cement Treated Materials (Road Mixed) is required, it will be in accordance with Item
275.
3) When Portland Cement Treated Base (Plant Mixed) is required, it will be in accordance with Item 276.
4) When Surface Treatments are required, they will be in accordance with Item 316.
5) When Limestone Rock Asphalt Pavement (Class A) is required, it will be in accordance with Item 330.
6) When Hot Mix-Cold Laid Asphaltic Concrete Pavement is required, it will be in accordance with Item 334.
7) When Hot Mix Asphaltic Concrete Pavement is required, it will be in accordance with Item 340.
8) When Asphalt Stabilized Base (Plant Mix) is required, it will be in accordance with Item 345.

512 - PORTABLE CONCRETE TRAFFIC BARRIER
SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
1) Locations for placing
and, if required, replacing the portable concrete traffic barrier
must be shown on the plans.
2) If the portable concrete
traffic barrier will be furnished by the Contractor, it will be constructed
to the details shown on the plans.
3) The portable concrete
traffic barrier furnished by the State will be at a storage site listed
on the plans.
4) When the portable concrete
traffic barrier is no longer required on the project and is not designated
for permanent use, it will be stored at a site shown on the plans.
