Toll Plaza Operations
TxDOT is seeking information that may assist in the development, deployment and operation of the customer service center (CSC), in-lane toll collection and facilities maintenance services supporting the department's toll roads. TxDOT is exploring options for procuring services from a prime vendor with high quality systems to support the operation of both the CSC and toll plazas for current and future toll facilities in Texas.

Please contact us from January 24, 2011 through January 28, 2011 to schedule a pre-proposal teleconference. The teleconferences will be held the week of January 31, 2011 through February 4, 2011.
Participation in a pre-proposal teleconference is optional and is not a prerequisite to responding to the formal Request for Proposal (RFP). However, participation in a pre-proposal conference may provide the vendor opportunities, in a relatively informal forum, to discuss the procurement process and questions regarding the draft specification with TxDOT officials.
Note: TxDOT is providing this material to allow time for establishing teams and organizing an approach to the project in advance of responding to the formal RFP. A formal RFP will be issued at a later date.
