In and near the city of Terrell, a segment of BS 34-A was removed from the state highway system from SH 34 southward to US 80, a distance of approximately 2.5 miles. Control, jurisdiction, and maintenance were transferred to the city of Terrella. Additionally, a segment of BS 34-A was redesignated on the state highway system as SS 226 from US 80 southward to SH 34, a distance of approximately 0.8 mileb. (Kaufman County)
