Additionally, in and near the city of Hubbard, a segment of SH 31 was redesignated as BS 31-C from approximately 2.0 miles west of the intersection of FM 936 and existing SH 31, northeastward to approximately 1.8 miles east of the intersection of SH 171 and existing SH 31, a total distance of approximately 4.2 miles^b.
