From US 380 near Old Glory, southeastward to Stamford. (Haskell and Stonewall Counties) New description; existing SH 283 transferred to SH 6. Section of SH 6, from US 380 southeastward to existing SH 283, redesignated SH 283 and designation extended concurrent with SH 6 to Stamford.
