Port Arthur Spur - From a point on US 96 in Port Arthur, at intersection of Woodworth Blvd and 16th St, to the intersection of Woodworth Blvd and Proctor St, following Woodworth Blvd. (Jefferson County) Approval. (NOTE: This spur and Proctor St between Woodworth Blvd and Houston Ave, and Houston Ave, and Houston Ave between Proctor St and US 96 (16th St), to be marked "Business Route US 96" upon completion of work on spur.)
Port Arthur Loop - Whereas Minute No. 17610 provides that, upon the completion of Port Arthur SS 114, it and that portion of Proctor St from Woodworth Blvd to Houston Ave and that portion of Houston Ave from Proctor St to 16th St, shall be marked as BU 96. (Jefferson County) (New Designation) It is deemed advisable to identify this entire route as Port Arthur SL 114 and it is completely described as follows: From intersection US 96 and SH 87 in Port Arthur at l6th Street and Woodworth Blvd, thence over Woodworth Blvd to Proctor St, thence over Proctor St to Houston Ave, thence over Houston Ave to intersection US 96 and SH 87 at 16th St and Houston Ave, a distance of 3.75 miles. Port Arthur SS 114 cancelled and combined with Port Arthur SL 114.
