FM 1360 Work Begins
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, May, 19 2006 Haas Anderson Construction, Ltd. of Corpus Christi will begin the $1.7 million dollar highway project on FM 1360 from FM 1360 Spur in Woodsboro to FM 629 at the end of this month. The project will consist of three parts. One part will be to rebuild and widen (from two 10 foot travel lanes to two 11 foot travel lanes with four foot shoulders) FM 1360 from FM 1360 Spur in Woodsboro to Boenig Road. The second part from Boeing Road to FM 629 will be repaved. The third part will consist of some additional drainage work done at the intersection of FM 3037 and FM 1360. The project is expected to be completed in September 2006. During the day the roadway will be reduced to one lane, one way traffic controlled by flagmen. The roadway will be open to full traffic at night and on weekends. The traveling public needs to be aware there will be sections of this roadway that will not have pavement until the project is nearing completion. Special care throughout the project area is recommended and encouraged. Construction operations are being monitored for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) through the office of Sinton Area Engineer Bill Reitmann.
