Financial Information
TxDOT is responsible for the construction and maintenance of
nearly 80,000 centerline miles of roadway. Primary funding comes
from traditional sources such as gas tax revenues, vehicle
registration fee revenues, federal reimbursements and local
participation. TxDOT has also received funding from
non-traditional sources such as bond proceeds and the federal
stimulus programs.
